Ryker was born while we were living in St.George. He thinks this is pretty cool, although he has no memory of it! It was a long hot pregnancy and I was very glad to be done with it. Hey, it doesn't really cool off in November in St. George!!

Ryker James Van Komen weighed in at 8lb 10oz. I thought that was big until a couple years later when his brother beat him by just shy of a pound. Ryker was and still is my snuggliest child.

Indy is one of Ryker's best friends and the whole family agrees that Ryker is Indy's "person". I know that that dog would give up his life for Ryker. In this picture Ryker was sick and just wanted to lay with Indy.

Ryker became a big brother at the ripe old age of 2. He was not a fan of having a little brother until Bronson was around 2 weeks old and he opened his eyes and looked at Ryker and something clicked in his cute little head that this was a little person. He has loved him (for the most part!) ever since. :)
